I’m not only feeling older than my age I LOOK like a Russian granny…or Baba Yaga… I really have nothing better to do than give the cat a Mohawk….well, yes I do, but this was more fun I’ve got less than 10 mins to find one picture that summaries what I did today…hmmm since I can’t really take a pic of me eating oranges and singing along to Taylor Swift (don’t judge me. I like the violin in “White Horse”) this will have to do, since getting back to my apt today I sort of lived on this couch…but but but that special about doing DNA tests on King Tut to find out who his parents were was on tonight, I had to watch! How I spent my my 11:30 to 1:00 am last night. Lovely When i was trying to flip the bedding nittany jumped on it and refused to move plus she stuck her tounge out at us, rude! Lol It’s hard to give people money from my purse when I can’t feel my fingertips :/ View from the floor of my office. I had to do it, all the kids werant home and I just needed to stretch out my back went flooring shopping with the rents today, they are redoing the house a bit, hardwood in the living room and new carpets elsewhere and such. I really felt like I was plating sims with all this mismatched flooring, I do tgat sometimes in my houses make patterns with the different flooring, sat or sun I’ll post pics of how our floor came out I have a recurring nightmare where my teeth disolve like sugar cubes. tonight my worst nightmare cMe true, like a dummy I bit down on a pen cap while listening to my NO SCHOOL phone call and heard a lovely crack, pieces of my veneer everywhere. It’s my two front teeth so noticable, sharp and annoying. we have tomorrow off I hope then I only have thurs and Friday like this and the doc can shave down the sharp pieces pieces so I don’t look like trying to work out scrabble words I got bored and went doodle crazy, yes I did draw a ballerina in a tutu forgot to post my pic again lol but yesterday I went curl crazy, wonder why my face looked so puffy my winnings from the casino tonight Sadie heard the poodle upstairs in the other apartment, maybe she thinks it’s her buddy Leia I’ve had this hanging up for over a month ans just noticed….look closely at the spelling of bear I want to cry, I just read the material, it made sense to ne, I had the book in my hand and STILL this. I’m a good test taker!! Ahhh one I fit the wrong number and didn’t check but the other four I was sure about. I have a 4.0 GPA so far in this program. I’d like to say it’s because I rushed through but really it took me 39 mins and I thought out every answer. did I suddently get dumb? fell asleep without posting this but my lovely Sadie did this to me while I was watching tv. thanks cat I really should be in bed but I get in this overtired I want to bounce around to pop punk music 11am mood….oh the iPod switched to Bette Midler, I accept! this may be a long night… I spent 4 hrs in borders today with Kellue and Pam, and bought NOTHING for myself, did buy some books for my students though. Afterwards I felt like actually shopping that I headed all the way to the Mall….oh 50 feet away to go spend crazy!!! which did bot actually happen for three reasons: 1. I am too cheap, I could not let myself spend 70 dollars on a dress that I thought MIGHT fit perfect by my trip in July or shoes by Jessica Simpson….black leather wedges, nothing insane I swear… 2. had fit issues, I’m a hard body type to fit…too round for misses at times in the waist and hips, yet too small for womans, and I don’t know my size, at all. I don’t wear jeans, so who knows the scary number that would be…and tops can range from size small to xl in my closet, it’s so confusing. I tried on an XL dress, I was drowning in ur, then tried the only other size they had…med, and got stuck in it, had to hop up and diwn and pull it inside out over my head to get it off….ugh 3. the other reason I had shopping issues was that i kept seeing things LIKE THIS. yes, those are sequin stretch pants. the house looks creepy with no furnature omg!!! I suck at spinning, I didn’t adjust my resistance enough at the start and nearly flung myself over the handlebars. finally got it right but dint stay up the whole counts standing, and I really wasn’t sure if I was crying or not but that was awful! I was impressed briefly that I stood up more than my aide, but then I remembered she’s over 30 years older than I am…I wanna cry more now reading a book about Classroom Assessment and talking an online quiz in my pjs. very not awake this week after school in general but did mange to get all my hw dine for this week, plus what I already mentioned, and 2 days early! I mean it, I’m so tired right now tgat I can not move from this bed. the doctor gave me a med to help me sleep so I’m unable to move from this spot to take a picture, sp this is what you get, what I see right now as I lay here….pillows!! this was in my parking lot today, can I keeeeeep it? ughhh, braved the rain to go grocery shopping, I needed chicken for the Rosemary Lemon Chicken I plan to make on Tuesday or Wed. I raided the fruit section, and bought all these great things, that are out of season, and thus cost more than my rent ;) I finally stopped buying cold cuts since all I ever do is waste them, I just don’t do sandwiches for lunch. I sorted my food and added the new stuff, tossed anything scary and old…um unopened breadcand butter pickles from May 09…I don’t eat bread snd butter pickles EVER so I have no idea why that was there actually. The top row us the dinner foods, like the Peckville UM Church roast beef dinner and left over Colarusso’s pizza…in not exactly diet worthy, and random things. middle row is fruit, all hail fruit. I really could live off fruit if it wasn’t so expensive. lowest row is my veggies and juices. the veggie keeper has cooking herbs and some garlic and such I even cleaned out my side sections, and realized I never have to buy salad dressing ever again. or not already messy. I have talent. finally decorated my back room, this is one poster I have up, I picked it up at ALA in 2006 and finally found a place for it. I had my students write up what would happen after one of the books I read ended…pretty much if watermelons took over the town. this was my favorite answer because of the little comments between the person and the watermelon. I went to TGIFridays with Pammers and tried to order something different, ended up one of their chicken pastas, helped me avoid fries. today I tried to recreate the meal with my lack of cooking skills as it seemed simple enough. I cooked the chicken in oil, balmamic ving garlic and basil, chopped up for some grape cherrys. I lacked any sause so I mixed more ving and oil, tempered with some sugar and dripped a bit in. I had two recipes for this but I just started mixing things together. it’s actually good I love my job but piles and piles of books to shelve is not on the high point list. I arrange the nonfiction books on a table by 100’s, I find it faster than ordering them on the cart and then the shelf, but mabel that’s just me spending my time watching Glee and playing the Wii…. busted out some firefly…and hey soup! my apartment is so random scene from the “The Birds” or target run. you be the judge. this would make more sense if I didn’t live in pa. I tried to post this yesterday but kept getting an error. spent the day bonding with piles of clothes….fun I’m a shortie, a round shortie, apparently for my height I should weight like 90lbs…. um not happening. I’ve been playing with the wii fit for 10 days and it’s mean YOU ARE OBESE note has gone away today, never been so happy to have a game call me overweight… but obsese is a scary word! guess I should keep this up huh. a fun hang out for the cat….I know I should clean that up but she likes playing with it….also I still have my tree up. me= lazy ….you can knock him out with the chapstick. what? You don’t get Star Wars ornaments every year? Geeks are cool now right? I’m getting observed tomorrow by the assistant superintendent. these are my lesson plans, for the whole year. That is exploded snapple. the crying is about to start Today is my dad’s birthday, I went out to eat with my parent’s this afternoon before driving back to my apt. I snapped this pic of a picture I have at my apartment from back in the days when my dad would carry me up the stairs over his shoulder yelling “Bag of beans for sale!” I have no idea where he got that, he probably doesn’t know I even remember it…Happy birthday Dad! I’ve been working on updating my blog most of the day, since it is Bloggeista Weekend, a big party of bloggers cleaning up their sites, and joining sone mini contests. I did a dead link hunt, worked on labeling my posts, added a copywrite footer, fixed my navigation so everything posts on the same site but you can click on a tab on the top to see all book blog entries another for all health and fitness and so forth. I also did some HTML and coding tweaks, and some other edits, and posted content…oh and joined a fitness challenge. Busy day! So today’s picture is what I was looking at for much of the day, my laptop….i have no desire to change my wallpaper ever. Jeff took that picture in Portland and I love it! I’ve been having issues with my fingers going very white and becoming hard to move, which makes typing and flipping pages hard…i’m a children’s librarian so this is a bit of a problem. the doctor told me it was raynaurd’s syndrome and there is no cure, so I’ve taken to wearing gloves, even inside and at work. I bought these on esty so that I can do the warmth thing and use my fingers. they are super cute I was laying on the couch, which shows how dead I am as I am not a lay down on couch person, oh I sit on couches all the time, too much really but laying down on one is not how I enjoy my tv watching. the cat decided to take a nap from my hip to shoulder, I turned around and all I see is close up ala insane cat. Funny, no one thinks she’s friendly but she likes me Saw this at work today, someone made it, my aide? a student? and Lois displayed it in the library. I’m at library 2 this week so I am missing the excitment. this week Lois apparently dressed up as a tea bag to tell the national hot tea month stories I left her. I…well, dressed up as me. impossible to tell but that is the wit fit game in the bg which I should be playing but instead I’m browsing cook books. though I did just run three miles and so sone Kung Fu dance thing and hula hoop until my hips nearly fell off. Came into work today to find I had been felt gift’s by the kiddio’s in the building I was not in the week of Christmas. I never expected this, as I’m a “special” and only in the building every other week, but feels good to be lived haha my principal was all about the Melissa love today too, let’s just say my kooky creative writing lesson that randomly popped into my head on a Monday was a success. -phew- my apartment is the bastard step-child of the apartment buildin. every other apartment has an indoor extrance, when they leave their apt door they are in a hallway, me? naww I have my own creepy side entrances that I reach only after walking down THESE. the roof drips on the middle of the steps and creates lovely ice stairs of doom. there is no other way up to the street, can’t walk behind the place or up other stairs, it’s just these steps then me, the end of the line…and yes, I have fallen on them, once I slipped on the ice while carrying a mini Christmas tree. wonderful. My first photo for Project 365 shows how I spent my New Years Eve, bothering cute orange cats. First I played the wii with my mother, while family members made fun of me then I sat up with my father, watched the ball drop, and tossed confetti (that I made when I was 8) at Ren -maybe next year will be more exciting, guess we’ll see!
